In the city you will find great Chinese, Mexican, Italian, and American restaurants. While finding good Mexican in New York is going to be close to impossible, like finding good Italian would be in Texas, Salt Lake offers a variety of quality restaurants. According to Travel and Leisure SLC is number 25 in cities across America for great food, yet Wine Magazine said Salt Lake was the number 5 up and coming ‘food and wine city’ saying that it won’t be long before the secret is out. While SLC is not a New Orleans or a Chicago it has some great food venues. All day passes are about $6 meaning your inner city travel can cost you less than $30 for a weekend. With trains coming every 15 minutes during the day you’ll never have to wait long to get where you need to go. Travel in the city is easier than ever, UTA’s Trax system can take you from the airport right to downtown and all over the city. You should have no problem finding a place to fit your needs and your budget. ![]() The options for hotels and meeting venues are excellent. With some planning you can stay at 4 star hotels for less than $100 a night. SLC has an array of free and inexpensive places to visit and tour, plus offers discounts for tourists. Travel and Leisure ranked Salt Lake City as the sixth least expensive US city to visit in 2013. SLC should be on your list for possible locations. Retreats are excellent resources to build company unity and vision, implement change, boost creativity, or even get your next product launch off the ground. Sure, we had our claim to fame in 2002 with the winter Olympics but since then what is there to really pull you into visiting SLC?
